Enga New Testament Dedication!
In February 2024, I went to Papua New Guinea (PNG) to lead a workshop in website building. There are hundreds of languages in PNG with a need for Bible translation, and there are about 100 languages with a translation project in process.
One of the languages represented was there to build a website for the Enga language. In July 2024, the Enga New Testament was dedicated, making the Scripture available in print, audio, mobile app, as well as online.
At the February workshop, www.engabible.org was built and launched. The website was promoted on Facebook in March, resulting with 10,000 unique visitors finding the new website! The high number of engagements continued in April and May. In June, the website activity included 845 unique downloads of materials such as Bible text and audio, Enga Dictionary, and the full New Testament. 52 people watched the Enga Jesus Film, and 3 people downloaded it to watch (or show to others) later. We are thankful that the digital access to the Enga Bible has been well received!
